About Google Calendar
Google Calendar is the calendar most people already use. It is free for personal use with a Google account, includes appointment booking pages (one for free personal accounts, more on Workspace Business Standard and above, per the sources below) and integrates with Gmail, Meet and Tasks.
Where Google Calendar wins
Google Calendar wins as a pure calendar: universal sharing, deep Gmail and Meet integration, booking pages, native mobile apps and near-universal compatibility with other tools. A workspace dashboard does not replace it; Workspaces' Calendar panel is a working calendar, not a Google Calendar clone.
Where Flocci Workspaces fits
Workspaces places the calendar beside your boards, notes and pages so planning and doing share a screen, and adds database views and live video rooms in the same workspace.
What Flocci Workspaces does not do

- A third-party integration marketplace (Slack, Zapier and similar)
- Gantt or timeline views, task dependencies, or automation rules
- AI auto-scheduling (AI burnout and workload scoring is announced as coming soon, not shipped)
- A template marketplace

Frequently asked questions
Is Flocci Workspaces a Google Calendar alternative?
It includes a calendar, but it is a dashboard that happens to include one, not a calendar-first product. We do not claim two-way Google Calendar sync. For a pure calendar, Google Calendar is better.
Is Google Calendar free?
Yes for personal use with a Google account; paid Google Workspace plans add business features such as multiple booking pages, per the sources listed on this page (checked 2026-10-11).
