How do I plan my day with a kanban board and a calendar?

Pick the cards you will work on today from your board, give each a time slot on your calendar, keep a short list for everything else, then work in focused blocks and move cards as you finish. In Flocci Workspaces, the board, calendar and a Pomodoro timer share one screen.

Steps

1. Open your workspace. Sign in and open a workspace with a Kanban panel and a Calendar panel side by side.
2. Choose today's cards. Scan the board and pick the few cards you can realistically finish today.
3. Block time on the calendar. Create an event for each chosen card with a start and end time, adding a reminder if you want a nudge.
4. Work in focus blocks. Start the floating Pomodoro timer and work through one block at a time.
5. Move the cards. Drag each card to its next column when done, and check My Day for what remains.
