Can I use a kanban board and a calendar in one app?
Yes. Several apps combine them, either as calendar views of cards or as side-by-side panels. In Flocci Workspaces the Kanban and Calendar panels sit next to each other on one drag-and-drop dashboard, along with notes and pages, so you can see the board and the schedule together. The personal workspace is free.
More detail
There are two common designs. One shows cards on a calendar (a calendar view of a board). The other shows a board and a calendar as separate parts of one screen. Workspaces takes the second approach.
The Kanban panel shows your Flocci Projects boards, and the Calendar panel is a full day, week and month calendar with guests, video-meeting links and reminders. The My Day panel merges what is due across them.
If you need cards plotted on a calendar by due date, a Databases view can do that: collections have a calendar view over date properties.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Kanban panel use its own cards?
It shows Flocci Projects issues, so a card is a real issue you can open in the Projects app for sprints and backlog.
Can I put a database on a calendar?
Yes, a Databases collection with a date property has a calendar view.
